UMA EXPERIÊNCIA DE ADAPTAÇÃO: UM ESTUDO QUALITATIVO ‘ARTS-BASED’ EM COMBINAÇÃO COM MODELO HEURÍSTICO

Resumo

A proposta deste estudo qualitativo foi a de explorar e a de entender as diferentes fases de uma experiência adaptativa pessoal de ser um estudante internacional de PhD em musicoterapia da Temple University e de como a música foi utilizada de maneira a oferecer suporte e possibilidades para insights metafóricos ao processo. O design do estudo envolveu uma combinação entre os modelos heurístico e ‘Arts-based’ de pesquisa qualitativa. Os dados foram coletados, através de múltiplas fontes, a partir de auto-investigação. O estudo também procurou refletir sobre processos adaptativos similares pelo qual pode passar um paciente de musicoterapia no início de seu processo bem como a adaptação que pode ser experienciada por musicoterapeutas quando iniciam um novo trabalho, com novos pacientes (com novas demandas), com uma nova equipe, em um outro local.
