A APLICAÇÃO DA MÚSICA, REALIZADA POR MUSICOTERAPEUTAS E POR OUTROS PROFISSIONAIS, COM BEBÊS: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA

Resumo

O objetivo deste estudo foi o de oferecer uma síntese da literatura acerca das intervenções musicais, realizadas por musicoterapeutas e por outros profissionais, com bebês. Uma revisão sistemática da literatura foi conduzida e demonstrou haver interesse de várias áreas do conhecimento acerca da utilização da música com bebês, principalmente na condição de prematuros. As metodologias de pesquisa empregadas são bastante variadas bem como os resultados alcançados. Os estudos demonstram que música faz bem não somente ao bebê como também aos familiares e cuidadores facilitando a sucção, o relaxamento, o sono, a diminuição de permanência no hospital para os prematuros, maior frequência de amamentação e diminuição de estresse para os pais, entre outros objetivos.
